A winning week!

I’ve had a pretty great week with some lovely time spent with the children plus the chance to meet up with old friends and new and to top it all, the quite amazing news that I’ve reached the Final 10 in the Stringing Category of the Beads & Beyond Jewellery Maker of the Year competition. Yippeee!

Anyway, now it’s my turn to hopefully put a smile on a few of your faces and announce my winners.

Firstly, the ‘nameless’ earrings.
Sometimes a name springs into my head before I’ve even finished a piece, other times I have to really delve into my imagination to find something that really speaks to me!
These earrings stumped me for some reason but not you guys. I can’t believe how many wonderful names you came up with, you imaginative lot! Perhaps I should get you all to name my pieces more often.

Anyway, after much deliberation, I hereby name these earrings:
